Biojam awards scholarships to MICF students

The pharmaceutical company Biojam awarded five scholarships, each worth €1,000, to support students facing financial difficulties enrolled in the Integrated Master's in Pharmaceutical Sciences (MICF).

The support was awarded to one student from each public higher education institution offering the MICF program – Faculties of Pharmacy at the University of Lisbon, Porto, and Coimbra, as well as the Universities of Beira Interior and Algarve.

The initiative stems from an agreement signed about a year ago with the Order of Pharmacists (OF), as part of an effort and synergy between the two entities to promote and distinguish quality and scientifically relevant research conducted by pharmacists.

The OF and Biojam share the goal of fostering innovation and supporting research projects in the fields of Health and Pharmaceutical Sciences, with a particular focus on these areas.

In addition to providing support to MICF students, Biojam established the Biojam Innovate Award in 2018, valued at €1,250, covering seven distinct areas, including Pharmaceutical Sciences and Hospital Pharmacy.
