The Biojam Innovation Award, created in 2018, aims to distinguish innovative research work in different healthcare areas. With a monetary value of 1,250 euros, the awards are granted to works of scientific quality and relevance in seven distinct areas.

2023 Awards
Biojam Innovation Award in Hospital Pharmacy
On February 25, 2023, the Biojam Innovation Award was awarded to the work titled “Patient Safety and Medication Errors,” authored by Dr. Renata Barbosa.
The award was presented during the XV Hospital Pharmacy Conference of the Order of Pharmacists.
Biojam Innovation Award in Burns
During the XVI Annual Scientific Meeting of the Portuguese Burns Society, BIOJAM had the honor of presenting the Biojam Innovation Awards in burns to Dr. Inês Catalão, an Internal Medical Resident in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at CHUC – Coimbra University Hospital Center, EPE. She was awarded for the best presentation and best poster.
The award was presented by Dr. Luís Cabral, specialist in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Coordinator of the Burns Unit at CHUC.

The “Prémio Biojam INOVAR,” awarded for a study in the field of parenteral nutrition in oncology.
