After a successful career in various pharmaceutical multinationals in France, Germany and the United States, Carlos Monteiro decided to found his first pharmaceutical company in 2006, renamed Biojam in 2015, a company based in Cascais, but which later expanded to Spain, and is preparing in 2023 to enter the Benelux market - Luxembourg, Belgium and the Netherlands.
In an interview with PAÍS€CONÓMICO magazine, Carlos Monteiro, CEO of Biojam Holding Group, discussed the importance of the pharmaceutical company in the Iberian Peninsula, expansion into other markets, the Inovar Prize and the Biojam Foundation, which are elements of great support for scientific innovation and Portuguese society.
